Lift control position
Unless you order a cordless shade, you have the choice of a right or
left cord control to raise and lower your shade. The right side is
considered to be "standard" placement of the cord. This is ultimately a
convenience consideration – place the cord where it will be most
convenient for you to control.
If you request multiple shades on one headrail, you may choose the
cord position for each individual shade. Standard is left control
for the left shade and right control for the right shade.
If you request multiple shades on one headrail with the Continuous
Loop Lift System, standard controls are a left control operating the
left fabric panel and a right control operating the right fabric
panel; another option is that both be operated with one control. For
three panel shades, the center panel will be controlled from the
right or left panel.
Extension (projection) brackets
Projection brackets extend the window treatment out in order to give
additional clearance to avoid the window operating hardware or
molding. Projection brackets are available upon request, in varying
lengths: Long (extends headrail 3 1⁄2"
from wall), Medium (extends headrail 2 5⁄8"
from wall), and Short (extends headrail 2" from wall). Projection
brackets are available upon request.
Hold-Down
brackets
Hold-down brackets may be used to secure the bottom of the shade
(the bottomrail) to a door, wall, or window sill. They are useful in
situations where it is desired that the shade be continually down or
where the shade can get jostled, such as on French doors. The clips
hold the bottom of the shade in place. Hold-down brackets are
available upon request.
Inside or Outside Mount
An inside mount shade is installed inside the window casing, from
the top or back, and is most often used for standard windows and
those with window frames you want to showcase, not cover. A side
mount can also be done for non Ultra™ shades up to 42" width.

An
outside mount shade is installed on or outside the window casing,
covering an area larger than the window itself. It is ideal for
shallow window casings, door mounts, or creating specific decorative
looks. Measure the exact width to be covered. Be sure the
measurement overlaps the window opening by at least 1 1⁄2" on each side (3" total
overlap) to ensure light control and privacy.
